How can you reset your HMI baud rate if you change both HMI and fieldbus baud rates to 9600 on the ATV600 or ATV900 Drives?
Resolution:
If both the HMI (keypad) and fieldbus baud rates are set to 9600, the HMI may lose communication with the drive. To restore the connection, you need to reset the HMI baud rate back to 19.2 kbps using one of the following methods:
✅ Option 1: Connect using SoMove with a cable
- Order and use the TCSMCNAM3M002P communication cable
- Connect your PC to the drive
- Open SoMove software
- Access the drive settings and reset the HMI baud rate to 19.2 kbps
✅ Option 2: Connect via Ethernet
- If you know the Ethernet password, connect the drive to your network
- Use SoMove over Ethernet
- Locate the HMI communication settings
- Change the HMI baud rate back to 19.2 kbps
