User guide: EcoStruxure Panel Server User Guide

Installing, operating and maintenance
The Ecostruxure Panel Server uses Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS).  HTTPS is a variant of the standard web transfer protocol (HTTP) that adds a layer of security on the data in transit through a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol connection.

You must include  https://   before the IP address in order to access the webpage for the device.   If you only enter the IP address into the web browser it may not default to HTTPS.

Example: https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

From firmware version v002.005.000 onward, all EcoStruxure Panel Server (PAS) models include a default Username: SecurityAdmin and Password: AAAAAAAA. These credentials are required during the initial installation or after a factory reset, but they can be changed once the setup is complete. Refer to the User Guide for additional details.

In general, the PAS requires the default username and password when accessing the device locally. However, when configuring Data Publication settings or managing Cybersecurity features, the default credentials must be changed to ensure proper security.

This can initially be completed using one of the following methods:

• EcoStruxure Power Commission (EPC) software. Download here.

• The EcoStruxure Panel Server (PAS) homepage via its embedded web interface.

The EcoStruxure Panel Server documentation can be found in the following links:

If you are unable to log into the webpage due to a lost or forgotten password, refer to the User Guide under “Resetting to Factory Settings” for instructions.

As of firmware 001.009, the PAS800 Panel Server does not support multiple user accounts. It is managed by a single user. See the below guide for any updates based on the firmware release version. Firmware Release Version Notes

The EcoStruxure Energy System Cloud is a cost-effective, reliable, and streamlined solution for energy monitoring and management. It reduces hardware dependencies by replacing traditional, large-scale, on-premises servers with Schneider Electric’s cloud-based infrastructure, enabling efficient data handling and system control.

The system architecture is organized into three core components:

  • Metering – Schneider Electric-compatible power monitoring and control devices
  • Gateway – EcoStruxure Panel Server (EPaS) and/or EcoStruxure Site Server (ESS)
  • Cloud – EcoStruxure Energy Hub (EEH)

Each component is supported by dedicated documentation detailing configuration, integration, and operational guidelines.
