Answer:
Yes, SE can provide a special adapter to transition between the I-Line II busway and the non-SE busway. However, there are specific rules in doing so.
- Indoor Rated Only (We can not provide any degree of protection from the ingress of liquids)
- Customer must provide SE with a sample of the existing busway and sent to Oxford for engineering purposes.
- Select 'CONNECTIONS TO EXISTING BUSWAY' in the product selector for this type of device.
We (SE) will not provide details of our busway to allow someone else to manufacture this type of adapter.
They would have to get their hands on a sample section and reverse engineer the adapter. (just like we do)
Per plant instructions you would need to reach out to your local distributor and order a custom adapter for this transition and provide a sample of the existing busway.
