How to wire Current Transformer (CT) on the new HDPM6000S Strip Module (METSEHDPM6S24WF)?
Issue
The redesigned HDPM6000S Strip Module (METSEHDPM6S24WF) doesn’t have the polarity of the CT printed on the Strip Module main circuit board like on the old one. The CT connector (METSEHDPMS24CTCON) doesn’t have polarity printed on it either, but the HDPM6000 CT has two leads White (+) and Black (-). As consequence, landing the connector of the CTs on the Strip Module is concern.

Cause
Missing CT polarity printed on the new HDPM6000S Strip Module like on the previous model.

Resolution
While the updated information will be done in the documentation about the correct CT connection on the new HDPM6000S Strip Module (METSEHDPM6S24WF), this article will be used to guide the installer to wire correctly the CTs on the new HDPM6000S Strip Module.
The CT connector never had polarity printed, but it was obvious before to connect the white lead on (+) and the black lead on (-) because the polarity of the CT was printed on the Strip Module Circuit Board of the initial module design. See the pictures below.

The polarity sign is not available on the connector neither on the new Strip Module. Therefore, it will be updated in the HDPM6000S new Strip Module (METSEHDPM6S24WF) instruction sheet and available to the end users in the coming days. For now, we can refer to the following diagram (Fig. 3) for a detail connection from the CT to the Strip Module.
