PME - "license_no_longer_valid_enm" errors

Issue

The system log shows licensing errors for the Event Notification Module, coming from ENM Alarm Reader. The message is "license_no_longer_valid_enm".

Cause

On PME 2021 or later, the ION Application Modules Alarm Service Host service is starting before the licensing service starts, causing it to not recognize the Event Notification Module license and not initialize the notification feature.

Resolution

1. Open Services

2. Right-click on the ION Application Modules Alarm Service Host service > Properties

3. Set the Startup Type to "Automatic (Delayed Start)"

4. Restart the service
