Issue
In EcoStruxure Machine Expert v2.3, it is not possible to add the J1939_Manager node network protocol in the Device Tree.
This is what the node appears like under the CANopen bus in the Device Tree in prior version v2.2.2:
However, in Machine Expert v2.3, it is no longer seen in the Add Device menu:

Cause
The CODESYS company as of v3.5 SP17 no longer delivers the J1939 database anymore since because of legal/licensing reasons with SAE International (the parent organization of the J1939 network protocol). And therefore it is why it is also removed from Machine Expert v2.3 as well since our software is based on CODESYS v3.5 SP20.
Resolution
The only recommendation would be to back one version to Machine Expert v2.2.2.
The database was removed by Codesys, which means Schneider Electric cannot deliver the J1939 feature in Machine Expert v2.3 or higher.
The Version v2.2 will still support the J1939 and will remain available to customers.
It may be possible to order the feature from Codesys directly. There exists a CoDeSys paid package for J1939: https://store.codesys.com/en/codesys-j1939-manager-sl.html,
But we cannot guarantee functionality because it would not be an Officially Validated feature by Schneider Electric inside our EcoStruxure Machine Expert product.
If one chooses to try the J1939 package from Codesys, they would need to ask Codesys if it is compatible with the Codesys version specified in Machine Expert.
Schneider Electric cannot guarantee compatibility since this package is not officially validated.
