User could determine the difference between the EcoStruxure (EPaS) HW V1 vs HW  V2.

Cause
The SE Distributor couldn’t find the EcoStruxure Panel Server Hardware HW V2 from the Selector.

Resolution
The EcoStruxure Panel Server (EPaS) is available in two hardware versions, which vary by model and manufacturing date: hardware version 001.000.000 (HW V1) and hardware version 002.000.000 (HW V2). Refer to the EPaS USER GUIDE and check the Feature Availability Table for details. If you have access to the EPaS webpage, the login page displays both the firmware and hardware versions, as shown below.

This information plays a crucial role while doing firmware update, where the selection is based on the EPaS model and hardware version.

The following model and hardware part show the difference between those two hardware versions. See the USER GUIDE under section hardware description. Also, each release firmware has the Release Notes that summarized what features are inside of it. EcoStruxure Panel Server 2025 Firmware Package.

1. Model and Hardware version 1 (HW V1)

• Model :

• • EcoStruxure Panel Server Entry level EPaS4000 firmware v002.004.000 and greater.
  • EcoStruxure Panel Serer Universal EPaS600 series (EPaS600, EPaS600L, and EPaS600T) firmware V002.004.000 and greater.
  • EcoStruxure Panel Server Advanced EPaS800 series (EPaS800, EPaS800L, and EPaS800P) firmware v002.004.000 and greater.
  • Hardware version 1- HW V1, physically those models listed above don’t have:
  • MAC address, Serial number, and hardware version written on the EPaS body.
  • Neither an External IEEE 802.15.4 (Wi-Fi) antenna port.

2. Model and Hardware version 2 ( HW V2)

• Model:

• • EcoStruxure Panel Serer Universal EPaS600 series (EPaS600, EPaS600L, EPaS600LWD, and EPaS600PWD) firmware V002.004.000 and greater.
  • EcoStruxure Panel Server Advanced EPaS800 series (EPaS800, EPaS800L, and EPaS800P) firmware version 002.004.000 or greater for hardware version 002.000.000.
  • Hardware version 2 – HW V2, physically those models listed above have as shown on figures 2 and 3:
  • M. MAC address and serial number and hardware version HW: V2.0 (for hardware version 002.000.000 only)
  • N. External IEEE 802.15.4 antenna port (for HW: V2.0 EPaS600, EPaS600L only)
