SAGE Config-to-Excel Tool Error When Loading Configuration Files
Issue
When attempting to open a configuration file in the SAGE Config to Excel tool for conversion, a warning message appears and the tool does not convert any data.

Cause
The tool was developed before the introduction of Secure Firmware.
Secure Firmware packages configuration files inside a compressed directory structure, and the tool cannot read the encrypted or zipped container directly.
Because of this, the tool fails to locate the XML data required for conversion and displays a warning.
Resolution
Before using the SAGE Config to Excel tool:
- Unzip the configuration file manually.
- Inside the extracted folder, locate the XML directory (usually named XML, ConfigXML, or similar).
- Point the tool directly to the XML folder instead of the compressed parent file.
Once the tool is directed to the XML contents, the conversion will work correctly.
