Issue

Users need to identify the default factory IP address for a SAGE RTU that is running a non‑secure firmware version (C3413 CPU)

Environment

SAGE Remote Terminal Units in initial deployment, commissioning, testing, or bench configuration scenarios where the RTU has not yet been reprogrammed or customized.

Cause

During first‑time setup or after a reset, the RTU may revert to its factory network settings. If the default IP is unknown, users may be unable to establish communication with the device.

Resolution

The default IP address from the factory for a SAGE RTU non‑secure version (3413 CPU) is:

172.18.150.50

Use this address to connect during initial configuration.
