Note: This procedure assumes the individual circuits are configured in the device type using the !!DeviceName_M##!! format. The example steps below configure software logging for Active Power for the circuits in the native EM4800-08 Wye device type:

1. Open File Explorer, then navigate to …\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\system\translators:

2. Copy the em4800_08_wye.ion and em4800_08_wye.xml files:

3. In File Explorer, navigate to …\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\config\translators.

4. Paste the em4800_08_wye.ion and em4800_08_wye.xml files into this folder:

5. Open Management Console > Tools > System > Device Type Editor:

6. File > Open, then navigate to …\Power Monitoring Expert\config\translators:

7. Open the em4800_08_wye.ion file.

8. In Device Type Editor, open Tools > Configure Software Logging:

9. Highlight each of the Real Power Total!!DeviceName!!_M0# measurements, then check the box for Log:

10. Click OK to close the window, then File > Save.
