Here is the Management of the Licensing with the new HMI License Manager V2
- The HMI License Manager V1 was installed by the versions VJD V6.3 /SP1/SP2
- VJD 6.3 SP3 installs the HMI License Manager V2 in parallel of the HMI License Manager V1 (there are 2 icons of the License Manager on the PC desktop after installation of VJD 6.3 SP3)
- If a license of VJD V6.3 is already registered on the PC with the HMI License Manager V1, there is no update of the License registration after installation of VJD 6.3 SP3. It means that version V1 will continue to keep and manage the license.
- At any time, it is possible to return the license from version V1 and then activate it into version V2.
- If VJD V6.3 was already installed but no license was registered with the HMI License Manager V1, after installation of VJD 6.3 SP3 on the PC the License Manager V2 is available and the registration can be done, including the Offline Mode.
- EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert V4.0/4.1/4.2 and Vijeo Designer 6.3 SP3 are now using the same HMI License Manager V2.
