SAGE Non-Secure Upload/Download Tool Not Found for Legacy SAGE RTUs
Issue
The client cannot find the tool named SAGE Non-Secure Upload/Download Tool required to upload or download configuration files from legacy SAGE RTUs. The standard non-secure web page in the RTU cannot be accessed.
Product
SAGE RTU
SAGE 2200
SAGE C3413 CPU
SAGE C3414 CPU
Environment
Legacy SAGE RTUs installed on site
Workstation without Internet Explorer (IE) available
Modern operating systems where IE is deprecated or unsupported
Non-secure configuration access required
Cause
Older SAGE RTUs rely on a Non-Secure Upload / Download web page that requires Internet Explorer for access. When IE is not available or supported on the commissioning laptop, users cannot access the RTU’s web interface to upload or retrieve configuration files, leading to the assumption that the tool is missing or unavailable.
Resolution
Schneider Electric provides a stand-alone executable named SAGE Non-Secure Upload/Download Tool to address this limitation.
The tool allows users to upload and download configuration files without using the RTU’s web interface.
It is specifically intended for legacy SAGE RTUs (2200, C3413, and C3414 CPUs).
No Internet Explorer browser is required.
This tool is recommended when commissioning or maintaining older RTUs in modern IT environments.
The stand-alone executable is shared and attached to this article for direct access. Download and run the tool locally to perform non-secure configuration transfers to and from the RTU.
