How can I retrieve a license from a PC that is damaged or has been decommissioned?
Product Lines:
Software licenses in A-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format
Licenses activated using the Schneider Electric License Manager.
Resolution:
Customer may contact their local Software Registration Center and request assistance to remotely release the license from the affected device. To proceed, they will need to provide the Activation ID and the device name of the broken or decommissioned PC.
If the Activation ID is not available, the customer can instead provide any of the following:
- Entitlement Certificate for the license.
- Email address where the license is registered to.
- Purchase Order number.
