What is an INF8 (internal error 8) on an ATS480 softstart?

This fault indicates an internal electronic power supply error. The soft starter's control board has detected that its low-voltage logic supplies (5V, 13V, or 24V) are out of range

Possible causes:

External shorts: Connected 24V devices or digital inputs drawing too much current. Disconnect all field wiring from the 24V source terminals. If the fault clears, find and fix the short circuit in your external loops.

Loose internal connections: Unseated ribbon cables between internal circuit boards.

Component failure: A damaged control board or power board.
