PowerPacT D-Frame Electronic Motor Circuit Protectors

PowerPacT® D-frame Electronic Motor Circuit Protectors (MCP) are instantaneous-trip circuit breakers designed to offer motor short circuit protection. These are NEC® compliant when installed as part of a combination controller having motor overload protection. They offer simple solutions that deliver more reliable start-ups, provide better protection of equipment and adjust for a wide range of motor starters. Key Features

• Designed for motor control applications from 400-600A at 600 Vac
• Available trip settings from 5-10 times the handle rating
• J-interrupting rating of 65 kA@ 480 Vac established in combination with motor starters and properly sized overload relays and contactors
• UL magnetic trip setting tolerances are -20% and +30% from the nominal value
• Available in unit-mount constructions for mounting on rails, on backplate or for flush mounting
• Extensive selection of snap-in field installable accessories same as the equivalent PowerPacT D-frame circuit breaker
