Issue:
Why is the Magelis freezing when frequently saving data or alarm log files on the CF/SD/USB flash drive?

Cause:
It is a known issue that Vijeo Designer Runtime (v6.2) file system encounters a performance barrier when folders contains too many files. Empirically, when the number of files exceeds 60 files, performance degrades when writing to storage. Multiple small files performs worse than a few large files. This is a limitation of the Runtime engine.
Resolution:
The work around would be to reduce the frequency of the "Save to File" feature and periodically backup the csv file. Then retrieve the log files using Data Manager and delete it off of the CF/SD/USB stick.
