Issue:
The HMIGTO series of Magelis HMI sends NTP and SNTP packets when there is no such feature configured.

Resolution:
This unnecessary packet should have been stopped as of Vijeo Designer V6.2 SP6. The reason why the packet was being sent in the first place was because the underlying OS (Vxworks 5.x), which is developed by a 3rd party company (WindRiver), incorporates an NTP and SNTP discovery mechanism into all of their OS's. Therefore it was included into the HMIGTO ever since it was introduced, even though Vijeo Designer did not support NTP or SNTP yet. However, since Vijeo Designer V6.2 SP6, work was done to support the feature and a custom implementation was made and the packet is turned off.
Any version older than Vijeo Designer V6.2 SP6 will continue to send this packet.
