Why does my Altivar Process Drive show "CLI" status on top left corner and then trip on an OLF fault?
Issue:
CLI status on top left corner and OLF fault on Altivar Process Drives.

Product Line:
Altivar Process Drive (ATV630, ATV930, ATV650, ATV950, ATV660, ATV960, ATV680, ATV980)

Environment:
All serial numbers for Altivar Process Drive

Cause:
Drive going into a current limit. Drive is pulling too many amps

Resolution:
"CLI" means Current Limitation
"OLF" means Motor Overload

Overload Trip Conditions
The Motor Overload Fault (OLF) indicates the motor is pulling too many amps.
The fault is triggered when Motor Thermal State " THr” reaches 118%.  It can be manually reset when the Motor Thermal State is less than 100%.
Read tHr to know the motor state. [Display] [Motor parameters] [Motor Therm state] tHr

Remedies
1.  Confirm motor current in Display Menu. [Display] [Motor parameters]
2.  Check Motor Parameters in [Complete settings] [Motor parameters]
3.  Check Dual Rating (Only adjust if motor is heavy duty and is sized properly)
4.  If possible, uncouple motor and run drive with no load
5.  Disable OPL [Complete settings] [Error/Warning handling] [Output phase loss], run drive with no motor connected to the output.
Check voltage on output.
6.  If drive runs fine then check motor.
Possible motor causes:
- Motor rotation
- Motor winding or insulation may have an issue (meg the motor and leads with a 1,000V Megger)
- Motor leads and wiring
- Motor distance over 300 ft requires output filter or reactor
