What are the data types that are supported in Power monitoring Expert's Ecostruxure Web Services (EWS)?

Issue:

When attempting to read unsupported data types through EcoStruxure Web Services (EWS) in Power Monitoring Expert (PME), the following error may occur:

Couldn't convert value to double: double

EcoStruxure Web Services (EWS)

Environment:

EWS client applications

Cause:

EWS in PME supports only specific data types for measurement values. Attempting to read unsupported types (such as strings) results in conversion errors.

Resolution:

The following data types are supported in PME’s EWS interface:

• Double
• Boolean
• DateTime

Note:

• String data type is not supported in EWS for measurement values.

Recommendation:
