Full Modbus control is not implemented into Lexium 28 design.
It's possible to read and write parameters via Modbus, but it is not possible to fully control the drive via the Modbus channel because there are no
modbus objects available on LXM28 for the "ControlWord" or for the "ModesOfOperation".
However, it is also possible to force inputs of LXM28A via Modbus.
Therefore it is possible to control Lexium 28 via Modbus for simple motion control.
