No, nLd control law is not recommended for constant torque or heavy duty applications.

Constant torque or Heavy Duty applications will rarely operate in  a condition where the drive is able to reduce the motor current, and using this mode may result in poor speed/torque regulation in those applications.
This mode is primarily intended for fan or pump loads.
