Resolution:
The PM8000 meter will support BACnet protocol if it's firmware is updated to v4.6.0 or newer.

Notes:

The meter’s fundamental protocol and architecture is ION. You can integrate the meter into various industry-standard networks. Data that the meter measures can be made available to other devices using BACnet (with v4.6.0 firmware or newer), Modbus, DNP 3.0 and SNMP, as well as the MV-90 translation system. You can configure the meter to import data from other devices on these networks. The meter supports the IEC 61850 protocol and COMTRADE waveform data format. The meter also supports IPv6, DPWS and RSTP Ethernet protocols.
