When ip forwarding service is activated, the BMENOC0321 automatically enables its backplane port.
Then will it trigger the network storm by connecting the respective ctrl port of BMENOC0321s from HSBY system onto the same switch?

3. Resolution

No, it will not trigger the network storm by connecting the respective ctrl port of BMENOC0321s from HSBY system onto the same switch.
Although the backplane port is automatically enabled, the link between ctrl network and fieldbus network is isolated.
So it will not cause the unintentional ethernet loop in this loop.
