Migration from ATV32 and ATV320 with Function Blocks

Issue:
Can you transfer Function Block Programming from one drive to another using SoMove?


Product Line:
Altivar and Altivar Process Drive


Environment:
All models and serial numbers for Altivar Drives


Cause:
When you Convert an ATV32 to an ATV320, the Function Block Program does not transfer?


Resolution:

Converting the config file from ATV32 to ATV320 when the Function Blocks did not follow.

In SoMove you have to Open your ATV32 psx file
Now go to Devices Menu (at the top) > ATV Logic > Import/Export
Export and save the Function Blocks
Now in SoMove > Convert the ATV32 to an ATV320
Go to Devices > ATV Logic > Import/Export
Import the Function Blocks file you previously saved to the ATV320 Configuration
Go to the Function Blocks menu in the Parameters tab
Go to FbCd and now you can change that to START
Under Parameters Tab scroll down to Communication
Confirm that your communication settings match the drive being replaced

Cycle Power on the drive.
