This document explains on How to resolve logging issues for newly added users in Ecostruxure Automation Expert.
While creating a Project in Ecostruxure Automation Expert, System asks for creation of at least one user mandatorily for security purposes.
Later in Topology, the user will Configure the security of the device and Trust it. Thus the device can be connected and deployed using the User credentials created which is normal procedure. Users can see the security status as below once it's configured.
Issue: Issue comes when the User creates a new "user" in the project and tries to connect with the Controller using the newly created credentials. The logging with new credentials will fail.
Resolution: When User is creating a new "User in project, the User credentials will be automatically outdated at Topology, as shown in below picture. So you need to go to topology and right click on the device and click on Configure security. This will update the new users & credentials to the Controller. After this, user can log in with New user credentials to the controller.
