Video: How to sync time between a Machine Expert (EME) PLC and a Operator Terminal Expert (EOTE) HMI?
Issue:
Read the time information from the M241/M251/M262 PLC to synchronize the HMIST6 internal clock.
Product Line:
EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert, EcoStruxure Machine Expert
Resolution:
In order to synchronize the HMI time with the PLC time, you must make use of a few libraries in Machine Expert.
You will need to use the following:
SysTimeRtcGet -> This gets the controller's time
SysTimeRtcConvertUtcToDate -> This will convert the controller's UTC info to a readable date
SYSTIMEDATE -> This will store all the date and time information in tags that can be used by the HMI in Operator Terminal Expert.

Please download the project to an HMI to test it out. It does not work in simulation mode.
