- The TRB142 Teltonika modem is supported only from ZelioSoft V5.4.2 and it can be connected to the SR2COM01 only with the SR2CBL07 cable (H2.0):
When creating the Remote Station, select the TRB142 modem, enter the phone number of the SIM card and don't forget to enter the phone number of the SMS server.
- The firmware of the SR2COM01 module has to be updated by using the Zelio2 COM => Update Zelio2 COM firmware menu.
To update the firmware, connect the SR2USB01 cable to the SR2COM01 communication module.
The firmware version of the SR2COM01 can be checked from Zelio2 COM Diagnostics.
Only a firmware version higher or equal to V1.0.14 is compatible with the TRB142 modem.

- Once the firmware of the SR2COM01 has been updated, the application program can be transferred to the Zelio Smart Relay.
- Configuration of the TRB142 modem:
Connect the TRB142 modem to your PC thanks to the USB cable supplied with the modem.
Use the Quick Start Guide available with the modem TRB142 to change configuration of modem.

Go to Services >> Serial Utilities >> Modem Control:
From this page, Add a New Instance with the following settings:

NOTE:
It is strongly recommended to use the latest firmware version of the TRB142 modem. Please refer to Teltonika website to download package and update procedure. https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/TRB142_Firmware_Downloads
- Connect the TRB142 modem to the SR2COM01 only with the SR2CBL07 cable (H2.0).
NOTE:
The SR2COM01 has to be power supplied or rebooted only after the TRB142 modem is completely started (2G,3G,4G LEDs blinking and all signal LEDs OFF) as the init command is sent by the SR2COM01 only during the boot phase.
This FAQ is related to the SMS feature only. The remote monitoring with ZelioSoft is not possible with this modem.
