After installing SCADAPack E Configurator software, it doesn't launch. Windows Event Viewer reports Event ID 1001.

The Error 1001 is a runtime error which may be caused by corrupted or incomplete installation of Windows software.

This issue may be resolved by deleting temporary files and rebooting machine.  If the issue persists it is recommended to run in a VM or use a different computer.
There are no other known fixes to this issue.

To delete all temporary files:

1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run command. Then type “temp” in the search field and press OK.
2. Now, select all temp files using ctrl + A and then press delete.

To deleting local temporary files:

1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run command. Then type “%temp%” in the search field and press OK.
2. Now, select all local temp files using ctrl + A and then press delete.
