How to generate and utilize the Interlock trip alarm for GPL objects in Process Expert

This Knowledge base article explains the use of interlock trip alarms and how to generate the same in GPL objects available in Ecostruxure Process Expert.

The interlock trip alarm is a user-configured alarm that helps the user to define and reset the setpoint after an interlock occurance. This can be achieved by enabling a parameter in all situational awareness GPL objects. Here, when the interlock condition occurs, the asset setpoint and output are reset, also, an alarm is generated.

Note: This feature is available only for the EcoStruxure Process Expert GPL Situational awareness library objects
