Some customers use an HMIGTO in their configuration and they would like to know the number of devices (M241, M251, etc..) they can connect to the HMI by using SoMachine Protocol/Machine Expert Protocol.
The goal of this article is to inform about the number of devices supported by an HMIGTO by using SoMachine Protocol/Machine Expert Protocol.

The current version of Vijeo Designer (VJD 6.2 SP12) allows only 4 connections for an HMIGTO when using SoMachine Protocol/Machine Expert Protocol.
If you have more than 4 devices to connect to an HMIGTO, please consider using Modbus Protocol for some devices.
