What can I do to troubleshoot or what is the replacement part number for the PM800 series Remote Display 63230-500-120?

Cause:

Replacement 63230-500-120 Remote Display is blank, does not work.

Resolution

The PM800 and remote display for the PM800 series is now obsolete, we do not offer a replacement display solution for replacement and do not have a remote display solution that is backwards compatible.

1. 63230-500-120 - That is a PM800 series remote display part# only, not a specific model in the PM800 Series.

2. They would need to confirm which PM800 series model they have with the remote display option.

3. To troubleshoot

a. check connections

i. Check all wiring to the meter

ii. Verify the meter is getting the right voltage in the control power terminal

iii. If this is the remote display model, then check the adapter and the cable are properly seated on the corresponding ports.

b. power cycle meter

c. update firmware and power cycle

d. replace meter, no display available for replacement / compatibility.

4. To replace the PM800 Series Meter

1. They will need to confirm if they want to have an integrated display, no display, or remote display for a new suggested replacement meter.
2. They will need to confirm if they need any additional IO with a new replacement meter.
3. They will need to confirm the communication protocol needed with a new replacement meter.

Note:  The PM800, PM55xx and PM8xxx series meters will use the 5A CTs. (You may use the same CTs from the PM800 series 5A CTs currently in use).
