APC Back-UPS and Smart-UPS products are not classified as medical-grade devices. While they provide reliable power protection primarily intended for IT Equipment (such as computers, networking devices, routers, switches, telecom, etc.), they do not meet the strict requirements set by regulatory authorities for medical equipment. For medical applications, it is recommended to use UPS systems that are specifically designed and certified for medical use to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
