Issue:
DCE's web page "Remain Active" switch does not persist when navigating away from Dashboards page.

Product Line:
EcoStruxure Data Center Expert 8.3(potentially any version)

Environment:
Data Center Expert web page

Cause:
On the Data Center Expert (DCE) web page or "thin client" has a "Dashboards" page that contains a "Remain Active" switch.
This switch is designed to leave the Dashboards up and not log the user out while they're watching that page's cameras or other gadgets.
This switch is only for the Dashboards page and if the user navigates away from that page, the setting is automatically turned off.
Not only does it not work for other pages (at least at the time of this article's creation) but it will be off when the user returns to the Dashboards page.

Resolution:
This is by design. This option may change in the future but there are no current plans to do so.
