Ecostruxure Process Expert 2023: Slow performance of EPE Software or Configure Topology takes more than 20mins

This knowledge base article explains possible reason which causes your Ecostruxure Process expert very slow performance. User may experience like when he configure the Topology, it may take nearly 20mins to open.

The possible reason for Process Expert slow performance on a PC can be its "Power Plan settings". By default the Power Settings will be on "Balanced Mode" which limits the usage of full processor power.

In order to get maximum performance from Desktop/Server, we must keep "High Performance" settings in choose Power Plan setting. Also, there is one more setting where we need to define "Minimum Processor state" at higher value like 80% or 90% and "Maximum Processor state" at 100%.

These settings will ensure that you are utilizing maximum performance of your Desktop/Server machine and improve the performance of Ecostruxure Process Expert Software. This Knowledge base article is valid for all the versions of Ecostruxure Process Expert.
