Why my BMENUA0100 is not NTP synchronized in “CA only” or “Selfsign & CA” mode?
With BMENUA0100 FW 3.01.34, it is important to synchronize the module with an NTP server before changing the PKI mode.
After a Factory Reset, the BMENUA0100 starts in “Self-Signed only” mode.
Before switching to “CA only” or “Selfsign & CA”:
- Check that the NTP Client Service to “ON”.
- Wait until the BMENUA0100 is correctly synchronized.
- Check that the date and time displayed on the Home page are correct.
- Change the PKI mode to “CA only” or “Selfsign & CA”.
The BMENUA0100 will then restart with the NTP Client Service set to “OFF”, while retaining the correct date and time.
An incorrect module time may cause problems when importing a CA-signed certificate.
Once the CA-signed certificate is imported and new configuration applied to the BMENUA0100 module, the NTP client Service will be set to "ON"
