Veelgestelde vragen (FAQ's) zoeken

What do the suffixes A, B, C, D, G, T or K indicate when applied to certain XS1 inductive proximity sensors?

The suffixes A, B, C, D, G, T or K are used to indicate the connection method of the sensor. It does not impact any characteristic other than connection method. For example, Sn (Sensing Distance) will be the same whatever the connection method.

A part number (e.g. XS1M30MA230) without a suffix indicates that the sensor is standard pre-wired connection via cable, length 2 m.

Suffix letters are as follows;

  • A: connection via connector, 3 pin, terminal capacity 0.75mm²
  • B: connection via screw terminal block, terminal capacity 1.5mm², 11P cable gland for 8 to 10mm diameter cable
  • C: connection via connector, DIN43650A, 4 pin, terminal capacity 1mm²
  • D: connection via M12 connector, 4 pin, terminal capacity 0.25mm²
  • G: connection via M18 connector, 4 pin, terminal capacity 1.5mm²
  • T : connection via 717 connector, 5 pin, terminal capacity 1.5mm²
  • K: connection via 1/2" 20UNF connector, 3 pin, terminal capacity 0.34mm²

Note: Not all suffixes are available on all sensor types, please refer to latest catalogue for full details.
