Environment:
All serial numbers for Altivar 600 and 900 Process Drive
Cause:
N/A
Resolution:
This fault appears when the nominal voltage exceeds the maximum value of the drive
Possible Remedies:
- Check Supply Line Voltage
- Check for Power Factor Correction Capacitors
- Measure DC Bus Voltage (PA+ and PC-) On an ATV630 these terminals are located behind a black sticker
- Check for any additional or DC generating device next to the drive
- If there is an IT system, (High Leg Delta or Corner Grounded), suggest to disconnect the EMI filter and then power cycle the drive and see if the fault returns..
- Measure each incoming phase to ground to be sure whether you have a high leg. If so, that high leg could be overcharging the EMI filter capacitors, and in turn, overcharging the DC bus
