Since Control Expert V15.0, a new option has been introduced on PLC Simulator: the listening IP address. The default value is now 127.0.0.1.
This value is used to avoid that the PLC Simulator could be reached from external IP port. This is a mitigation to avoid cybersecurity attack.
Nevertheless, If the user wants the PLC Simulator listening all the IP port you need to set this listening IP to 0.0.0.0 as it was in the previous version or assigned the IP address of its PC External port.
Go to option of the PLC Simulator and change the Listening IP Address from 127.0.0.1 to 0.0.0.0 like below:
And then restart PLC Simulator.
