The information below also pertains to non-ventilated transformers by enclosure number. The D or E suffix on the enclosure number simply denotes ventilated (D) or non-ventilated (E).
Enclosures #s 17, 18, 19, and 20 use:
Sides and Top: 14 gauge
Front and Rear: 16 gauge
Base: 12 gauge
Enclosures #s 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, and 30 use:
Sides and Top: 14 gauge
Front and Rear: 16 gauge
Base: 3 piece base with (2) 7 gauge channels and a 14 gauge pan
