Applies to Low Voltage Dry-type Distribution Transformers by SquareD/Schneider Electric
Cause:
Transformers are sometimes used in high humidity environments
Resolution:
Schneider Electric does not offer fungus proofing for two reasons:
1) the varnish in SquareD/Schneider Electric's Low Voltage Transformers doesn`t promote formation of fungus
2) there is no fungus proofing varnish available that can withstand the standard operating temperature of a Low Voltage Dry-type Distribution Transformer at which point the applied product evaporates.
