How does a backfed breaker mount into an HOM612L100F, HOM612L100S, or HOM612L100RB load center?
Issue:
Where does the back-fed main breaker install into in a HOM612L100F, HOM612L100S or HOM612L100RB series 001 (or 1) load center? What is the maximum amperage branch breaker; and what is the retaining means?

Product Line:
Load Centers

Resolution:
The 2 pole backfed main breaker must be installed in positions 1 and 2. The maximum backfed branch breaker ampacity that can be used is 100 amperes with catalog number HOM2100. A retaining kit, HOM1RK, must be used to secure the backfed main to the interior. If the load center would be used as service entrance equipment or as the main panel, barrier kit PKSB1HOMBF can also serve the purpose of a retaining kit.
