Yes, MPL style Meter-Pak meter centers are supplied with lever type bypass and jaw release on each meter socket. The bypass feature is ONLY for use on a temporary basis and ONLY by the local utility company and is NOT suitable for continuous duty service. Once the lever bypass is engaged, the lever handle extends beyond the front surface of the enclosure, preventing the ringless style meter socket cover from being installed. After the lever handle is disengaged, the meter socket cover can be installed.
