Can I use non-Square D/Schneider Electric brand lugs on circuit breakers?

Resolution:
Square D/Schneider Electric circuit breakers are UL Listed for use with specific lug kits sold by Square D/Schneider Electric, as noted in our published literature. These lug kits have been tested and listed for use on the breakers per the appropriate standard.

Other brand lugs are not UL listed for use on Square D circuit breakers. These lugs have not been evaluated and tested on the breakers, may not perform satisfactorily, and could lead to an unsafe condition. We do not recommend their use. Should other brand lugs be used, it is at your own risk. Square D/Schneider Electric is not responsible for the outcome.
