Please refer to the attached Seismic Instruction Label.
All I-Line, NF, NF Column-Width, NQ, NQ Column-Width, NQOB Column-Width, NQOD and
QMB panelboards are seismic qualified when their Type 1 enclosures are mounted at the
locations shown below and use the indicated number of grade 5 steel bolts. NQ and NQOD
panels must also be equipped with bolt-on breakers.
When a side extension is used, all mounting hole locations in the side extension must be used. N represents total number of bolts used for the panel and the side extension.
To be seismic qualified, Type 3R, 3S, 5 and 12 enclosures must be mounted with grade 5 steel bolts and comply with the mounting instructions shipped with the enclosures. Also, NQ and NQOD panels must be equipped with bolt-on type breakers.
