Can an ION or Powerlogic meter be used as both a gateway connection and Modbus Master simultaneously?

Resolution
If the meter  has the 'ModbusGate Connection' setup register enabled within the Modbus Master Options module the meter can both act as a Modbus Master and as a pass through gateway connection simultaneously.  The master meter can still be polled using modbus slave ID 255.

NOTE: The ION8650 cannot be used as a modbus gateway.
