All safety switches fall under NEMA KS1.

NEMA KS1 is in reference to the NEMA standard that addresses the manufacturing of safety switches. It is not an enclosure type, although enclosure types are addressed within the KS1 standard. Square D safety switches are manufactured to standards outlined in NEMA KS1 and UL98.
