Are TeSys Giga contactors serviceable with replacement parts. What are the parts can be replaced ?
TeSys Giga contactor ranges are serviceable to support circular economy and enhance its operation. Control module can be replaced to adapt for different coil voltage variant or due to failure and when needs replacement. The diagnostic LED is ON indicates that the contactor has reached its end of life and main contact switching modules can be replaced, by scheduled maintenance.
Both control module and switching module can be replaced without removing main power cables/ busbar connections within 10 minutes (thanks to cable memory function in advanced version contactors), thus reducing downtime and improving productivity.
Note: Cable memory function is available by default in advanced version and can be achieved in standard version by installing cable memory kit between contactor and main power connections.
Caution: After switching module replacement the position of the RESET should be changed from AàB or BàA.
