Monica Chia

With more than twenty years of experience in organizational transformation, talent management and culture building for large corporations across Asia, Monica is currently the Vice President of Human Resources for East Asia at Schneider Electric. In this role, Monica leads the HR function for the entire zone, consisting of 14 countries with more than 5,000 employees. Schneider Electric is a multinational company that leads the way in providing energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability. 

Monica previously held leadership roles at Gilead Sciences, Allergan, Novartis and GE Plastics. These roles have provided Monica broad human resources experience ranging from building HR infrastructure, ramping up operations, integrating acquisitions to right-sizing operations, and experience across Asia Pacific.  

Monica holds a BA from the National University of Singapore.
