Which Buildtime License do I need if I want to have multiple EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert (Vijeo XL) Runtimes supporting 4k Tags?
If I have 12 iPC devices running EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert with the 4000 Tags License (HMIVXLRT4KLV80), do I need to have my Buildtime software support at least 12*4000=48,000 Tags?

No. A Buildtime License supporting 4000 Tags will suffice because a single project will have the maximum of 4000 tags.
If you have 12 iPCs with Runtime, each of those individual projects only have a maximum of 4000 tags.
Part Numbers for the Buildtime softfware are:
HMIVXLBT4KL80
EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert (Vijeo XL) with 4000 tags
HMIVXLBT4KDV80
EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert (Vijeo XL) with 4000 tags plus DVD
For other licenses requiring a different number of tags, replace the '4K' with:
‘1K’ for 1500 tags
‘32K’ for 32,000 tags
‘64K’ for 64,000 tags
