How can we rename a Recipe at Runtime on an HMI?

Issue: Is it possible to rename a recipe that is created during runtime in Vijeo Designer?

Resolution:

The user can certainly rename the recipes that are created after the "Create New" button is pressed to generate a new recipe at Runtime. There is a setting that you need to set to "True" first in your application before you can start renaming recipes on an HMI during Runtime.

The setting is found in the Recipe Toolchest parts:

The setting is called "RecipeNameEditable"

When this setting is set to True, you will be able to Edit the loaded recipe name. Keep in mind that you will need a "Save" button handy to save any changes.

The order of operations will be like this:

1) Create a new recipe by pressing the "Create New" Button

2) Click on the current recipe name (probably r#)

3) Enter the name for the recipe using the keyboard

4) Press Save.

This will let you customize the recipe names.
